Piling specialist All Foundations has invested £1m in new kit to meet rising demand.

The Derbyshire-based company has increased its fleet of rigs with the addition of both a brand new Llamada P-105 and a Soilmec SF-50.

The Llamada P-105 is ideally suited to perform CFA piling on both large and smaller projects with its capacity to provide between 300mm and 900mm dia piles up to a depth of 24 metres.  Its unique design also allows for faster set up to maximise piling operation time.

The Soilmec SF-50 is another large CFA and is capable of installing CFA piles up to 900mm Dia and to a depth of 25 metres.  Both the LLamada and Soilmec come equipped with state of the art technology to effectively manage and monitor the piling operation.

The purchase of the equipment comes on the back of an expansion in the company’s design team, with two senior designers joining to expand its design capabilities to a growing client base.

Managing Director Shahrooz Zojaji said: “I know that there has been some disruption in the industry recently, but we have been well insulated from the fall out of both Carillion and the current political situation regarding Brexit.

“We have always invested in the company and we continuously strive to expand and grow.  Due to our investments in both our people, which are the foundations of the company, and our equipment, which we see as the tools of our growth, we have not been affected as much by the somewhat volatile situation.

“Rather, we have actually enjoyed unprecedented growth both in revenue and in acquiring and retaining a larger number of top level main contracts.”

All Foundations next goal is to expand their Restricted Access Division in order to keep up with demand.

An active recruitment drive is currently underway to employ additional experienced mini piling rig operators and site operatives to complement the previous investment in Restricted Access plant and machinery.
